Bianca had contacted me with an idea she came up with for surprising her husband with a baby announcement. I was on board the minute she said surprise her husband! We staged the event as a family portrait session with their daughter. I love it when a plan comes together. This session was so much fun to photograph, but so hard to keep a secret!
Towards the end, I suggested we play a game. Each spouse had a chalkboard and was to write their favorite thing about the other person on it. It could be a body part, a personality trait, or just something fun. They had to stand back-to-back and then on the count of three, turn around and show each other. The plan was for Bianca to write her baby announcement on her chalkboard and have Josh read it when he turned around.
It worked like magic! Josh’s reaction was so so sweet!
