Now that Sam and Rachel have said their “I do’s”, we can officially release Rachel’s bridal portraits!
We drove down to the Clemson Botanical Gardens and explored a bit until we had our bearings and knew where we would start. I think we were all a little underwhelmed with the amount of flowers present. I guess we had played it up in our minds to be this beautiful garden just bursting with brightly colored flowers. That was not the case. Of course, it could have been the time of year, I’m not a flower-person, so I really don’t know.
It was hot and humid, as only August in Greenville, South Carolina can be. I guess it made for a good trial run for the wedding. We shot quickly and were able to get a variety of poses in a short amount of time.
Rachel’s dress fit her personality to the T. It was gorgeous on her and I really loved the detailing in the back!
We totally forgot to bring the small bouquet of flowers for the bridal portraits! Once we discovered we had left the flowers at home, Rachel’s mom had a few left over in her car. She quickly put together a small bouquet and we made it work for the pictures.
Here’s a few of my favorites from Rachel’s bridal session down at the Clemson Botanical Gardens.
