As soon as I pulled onto the property I was in love. White picket fences. Huge plantation style porch. Red barns. Horses. Australian accents. I knew this would be a fun wedding to shoot! If you know me, you’ll know this wedding was totally up my alley!
I was asked by the talented Jenna Moore of Jenna Marie Photography to second shoot this wedding with her. I’ve worked with Jenna before and I feel like we really connect and work well as a team together. Thanks for asking me girl! You’re awesome!
The day got even better when Jenna told me the bride would be riding in on her horse. How cool is that? If it hadn’t been raining for two weeks prior to my wedding and if I could have convinced everyone that a horse in a church is an okay thing, I totally would have done this myself with my horse! But I digress.
I had a lot of fun shoot this wedding. The wedding party was fun and full of life and they were great sports with everything. Seeing as how it was St. Patrick’s Day, all the bridal party wore green socks of some print or another. I thought it was a fun way to get the green in and not get pinched, because seriously, who wants to get pinched for not wearing green on their wedding day?
The day was gorgeous and hot, but storm clouds threatened in the distance. Just as the bride and groom ran off to the getaway car it started to sprinkle and then really let loose. The timing couldn’t have been better.
These are my favorite images of the day. To see the entire wedding, be sure to check back with Jenna’s blog.
