Jeremy and Sarah officially tied the knot at a country church in Walnut Grove, South Carolina on May 28, 2016. The church had just undergone a face-lift and Jeremy and Sarah’s wedding was the first after construction had been completed on the building.
The couple opted to see each other prior to the wedding, and the church had a beautiful parlor that was the perfect location for such a dramatic event.
After a few moments alone together spent praying, they headed outside for formal bride and groom portraits, followed by the wedding party and family portraits. The wedding party was made up of close friends and family and the level of laughter just never quit. This group of people truly care for Jeremy and Sarah, and it was evident in the stories that were told.
The day was filled with a lot of laughter and a lot of family and friends, something both Jeremy and Sarah both hold dear.
Sarah’s beautiful bouquet was very unique and colorful, artfully and tastefully designed by Anna Stouffer of Urban Petals. All of the bride’s maids bouquets were also designed by Anna and looked simply stunning.
Sarah’s father passed away when she was a little girl, so Sarah asked her grandfather to walk her down the aisle. This was definitely a special moment between grandfather and granddaughter.
It was important to Jeremy and Sarah throughout their wedding day that God be the center of their special day and future lives together. Both ministers took time to encourage the couple to keep God first and foremost in everything they do in life.
After the ceremony, a light reception was held on the property where the bride and groom greeted each of their guests individually. Care was taken to ensure each and every guest knew their presence was appreciated.
Jeremy and Sarah departed from the reception amidst lots of bubbles and lots of smiles and headed off to Charleston for a few days before flying out to South Africa on their honeymoon.
A special thank you to my second shooter, Allyson Garrison (The Journey by Allyson)! She was great to work with!
