I always enjoy it when clients make their portrait session unique to them, whether that’s bringing a special object or a family heirloom to their session. It’s always entertaining when they bring their dogs. Being a dog lover and owner for several years, actually getting to photograph dogs with their families is just the icing on the cake.
When Chrissy mentioned to me she’d like to include their two family labs in the family portraits, I was absolutely thrilled. Of course, when working with pets or small children, you never know how things may go. Luckily for us, these dogs, Storm and Snow, were easy going and we managed to get one or two family portraits of the entire family before they ran off to play elsewhere.
Both Jeff and Chrissy are so laid back and were a dream to work with! Their son is adorable and made the cutest faces, making my job super easy and so enjoyable. I love all the images we captured for this family.
