If you live near or have been anywhere near Greenville, South Carolina this past month, then you will know the large amounts of rain we have received. Like monsoon rains. Lots of flooding. This is normally a good thing, everyone needs rain right? And typically, I myself love a good thunderstorm. However, when it comes time to take pictures, the rain is just an annoyance. Especially after weeks of heavy rainfall.
Bria contacted me to take her senior pictures. All during this torrential rain we had been receiving. On faith, we set a date and prayed the rain would stop in time for her senior pictures. It came down to the wire, but we went ahead with Bria’s session and thankfully the rain had stopped in time! The sun even managed to peak it’s head out for a few minutes!
Bria loves cars and working on them, a passion she no doubt inherited from her father. So, of course we implemented a truck into Bria’s senior session and it turned out to be so much fun!
I love it when clients can incorporate something personal into their session. In this case, it was Bria’s father’s truck. This was only the second senior session I’ve done with a vehicle before, so it was a fun session for the both of us!
Bria choose to wear a purple shirt and it looked fantastic in the setting we picked for her senior pictures. Colors really do make a big difference in portraits, and I always urge clients to pick a color they love and something they feel good in. All black or all white is just so boring to me, don’t you think?
This senior session was a lot of fun and I’m so glad Bria choose me as her photographer! I can’t wait to see the big things she will accomplish in life! Here’s a few of my favorites of Bria’s senior session.
