I had the distinct honor to photograph Anna-Layne and Brandon’s wedding at Roebuck Baptist Church. They are the most down-to-earth couple and so sincere and genuine. I photographed Anna-Layne’s bridal portraits and could not wait for the wedding!
Both Anna-Layne and Brandon were so laid back the day of the wedding and very relaxed. They opted not to see each other prior to the wedding, but did have an intimate gift exchange between the two of them. It was really sweet moment, and both actually gave the other the same gifts!
The wedding was sweet and tender, as Brandon’s grandfather officiated for them. Once they kissed and sealed the deal, we headed over to Indigo Hall in nearby Spartanburg for the reception. The brick building offered a lot of texture and old feel to the reception, which was hosted by DJ Barry Productions.
Anna-Layne chose stunning black dresses for the bride’s maids with elegant yellow flowers provided by Yuli Smith. Her dress was from The Castle and she looked absolutely gorgeous in it.
At the reception, a special guest showed up and stole the show! The Clemson tiger made an appearance and helped get the party started. I could not have shot this wedding without my second shooter, Kristy Kaliope of Kristy Kaliope Photography. I was so grateful to have her along.
