I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the wedding of Elisabeth and Andrew in Taylors, SC at Faith Baptist Church. This was the second wedding I’ve shot at Faith and it was just as hot as the first one. Up until the day of the wedding, it had been raining, which, for Greenville, is nothing new. Luckily for us, the rain subsided early Friday morning and Saturday dawned bright and sunny.
Elisabeth and Andrew asked me to photograph their wedding over a year ago and I had hard time waiting to shoot their wedding. Everything about the day went smoothly and both families were relaxed and, I think, thoroughly enjoyed the day. Well, as much as you can when your children are getting married.
Elisabeth chose navy blue dresses for her bridesmaids and accented it with bright pink roses. Her own bouquet was white roses, sprinkled with a more subtle pink rose. I loved the contrast in colors with the girl’s dresses and their bouquets, it really made them pop. The boys looked handsome as well in black suits, you just can’t go wrong with a guy in a black suit right?
Elisabeth’s flowers were put together by Jeff Sparrow. I loved how they complimented the dresses.
The cake looked amazing! Angela Stockard from Piece of Cake put together an elegant cake and groom’s cake for Elisabeth and Andrew.
Their rings were unique and special to them. Andrew’s ring has been in his family for several years!
It was a beautiful wedding and I’m so happy I was able to share in Andrew and Elisabeth’s special day. Thank you!
